High-Performance Teams
Our performance theory is rooted in the science of Constructive Controversy. Group outputs are linked to the individual contributors and their mindset going into the work. Specifically, substantial alignment of values and understanding of others’ diversity and strengths leads to team confidence, which drives results. We work with executive-level teams while supporting individual departments in creating their own identity framed within the organization’s aspirational culture.
Team off-sites are founded on Patrick Lencioni’s renowned Five Dysfunctions of a Team model. We break these retreats into three sessions, a journey from me to we, resulting in a unique team identity. Each session provides resources to navigate team concepts while cultivating trust.

Session One : The Individual
Understanding the “Me.” Unfreeze the team by understanding your individual qualities, characteristics, and personalities. Learn how that diversity shows up in your work while navigating concepts around productive vs. unproductive conflict.

Building the “We.” How is the group going to work as a bonded unit? What are the team’s stated values, and how do you operationalize them?

Session Three : The Plan
Achieve clarity. Deepen team understanding of how our individual contributions move the team ahead while illuminating the known-knowns that hold the group back. Your team will leave with a clear plan to refreeze its newly developed culture.
Executive Coaching
Best expressed by authors April, Kukard, and Peters, Steward Leadership is the basic call for all humankind to become more than it currently is. We work with individual leaders wanting to understand better how their own growth can be leveraged in the service of others. A complete leader examines three dimensions of leadership to affect teams; behaviors, skills, and vehicles. What behaviors do you exhibit, and how do you lean into those that add the most value? What skills do you have as an individual that set you apart? What is the most effective model or vehicle for imparting your leadership to others?
